Aromas of underbrush, scorched earth, French oak and a whiff of new leather lift out of the glass. The powerfully structured palate offers dried black cherry, toast, espresso and dark spice alongside firm fine-grained tannins. It's still a bit austere so give it a few more years to fully develop. Drink 2020–2025.
