A big, deeply flavored, extraordinarily ripe Syrah, brimming with blackberries, black currants, chocolate, licorice and black pepper, all of it enhanced with the sweet-smoky taste of oak. Impresses not only for its size, but for balance and finesse. Just terrific now, and should age well for six years or so.
