If oaky whites are your thing, this barrel-aged Viura is a good choice. Waxy, floral aromas of gardenia, lilly, cured ham and resiny oak play against white-fruit scents. The palate is not blowsy or resiny, while woody flavors of spice and white pepper accent core flavors of peach and baked apple.
