This wine seems a bit locked up at present, with aromas of garden herbs, plum and spice. The flavors show more generosity, with abundant cherry flavors backed by grainy, slightly astringent tannins. || This 100% varietal wine hails from Blackrock, Mirage and Summit View vineyards. Barrel notes of cocoa, vanilla and coconut are at the fore, along with notes of dried cranberry and cherry. The palate is full bodied, with luscious fruit and barrel flavors that provide appeal.
